Now Healthcare makes ‘digital GP’ app for Aviva

Now Healthcare Group has teamed up with insurance giant Aviva to develop a new digital GP service.

Aviva’s customers will be provide with convenient access to more than 1,000 GPs through its app, Aviva Digital GP, which allows customers to book video consultations, receive remote diagnoses and get advice on simpler medical queries through a live chat facility.

The app will allow customers to choose whether their consultations are with a male or female GP and will also give them a choice of 12 languages.

Users can also use the service to order medicines and repeat prescriptions.
