Bolton-born Paul Haydock went from a failing state school in his hometown to Cambridge University where he achieved a first in Engineering.

Straight after university he chose to start his own business at the age of 22 with his best friend.

He worked from his parents’ kitchen in Bolton, earning no money for months.

With his wife at his side, he started his first technology business (myparceldelivery.com) at the age of 24, which was a courier service comparison site for SMEs.

He won many awards along the way, including Digital Entrepreneur of the Year in 2011.

After 10 months travelling with his wife he started work on the concept for DueCourse.
