Proxama’s new CFO to help with growth in AI space

Proxama, the AIM-listed mobile location data and intelligence company based in London, has appointed a new chief financial officer.

David Rae is an accomplished CFO with a wealth of public company, growth and international business experience within the technology and energy sectors.

He has joined the Proxama board on a part-time basis and will assist in delivering the Location Sciences business plan.

Rae is currently chief financial officer of SmartXpo Solutions, the AI and machine learning company to the global events industry.

Prior to this, he was CFO of energy software technology provider STC Energy Management, where he led the sale of the company to Inspired Energy.

Proxama chief executive Mark Slade said: “I am delighted to welcome David to our team. He has great experience working with young companies such as ours and helping them to grow rapidly.

“The Proxama Board sees a number of exciting opportunities for us to grow within the AI space.”

Proxama’s Location Sciences business helps companies connect the online world with the offline world using mobile location technology data.

The group combines mobile location data collection with proprietary machine learning analytics to create new value and insights from location information.
