Aston Villa have announced a ‘record-breaking’ commercial agreement with W88 to be the club’s principal partner for the 2019/20 season.

The Asian betting and gaming company’s logo will feature on the club’s Premier League home and away shirts as well as first-team training wear.

The deal exceeds the £8 million a year that Chinese casino chain Genting paid the club over the course of its two-season deal from 2011 to 2013.

W88 is a rapidly growing brand in the gaming industry with a strong presence in Asia. It specialises in sports betting, live dealer casino, poker, slots and lottery games.
