Ripjar’s ‘Torch’ AI-based threat and financial crime detection platform is designed to detect complex fraud, money laundering and other financial crimes across large data sources.

The company, which has raised £3.8M to date, has partnered with Dow Jones Risk and Compliance and LexisNexis on the product and was mentioned in a speech by Theresa May during the World Economic Forum in January of this year.

The Cheltenham-based company was founded in 2013 and founded by Jeremy Laycock, previously a software engineer.
