Romax is a green technology company which provides software and services to the automotive, aerospace, marine and wind energy sectors including a major Formula One team.

Its programmes are used by many of the world’s major car companies, including gearbox and transmission software in the likes of the Toyota Prius and Volkswagen Golf.

Based at the University of Nottingham Innovation Park, it employs 250 people and last year was awarded a government grant to help reduce vehicle emissions through electric motor technology.
