Software developer Audacia has doubled its office space in Leeds on the back of new business wins and "strong headcount growth".

The company has relocated to a 4,090 sq ft office at 46 The Calls from its current 2,000 sq ft home in the same office building to house its growing team.

The company doubled its headcount to 32 analysts, developers and testers last year. Its new top-floor office can accommodate up to 65 people.

"Our business keeps growing at a steady pace, with several new project wins and new recruits this year following a strong 2017," said managing director Philip White.

"We’re in an excellent position to continue growing against our current business plan, and having an attractive working environment and a city-centre location is vital to the happiness of our team."

Founded in 2010, Audacia specialises in developing problem-solving technology for complex business critical projects.

The Microsoft Gold Partner's clients include British Gypsum, AESSEAL, Story Homes, Europcar and other clients in the manufacturing, construction and agriculture sectors.

This year, it won a competitive tender against 30 other companies to become a critical technology partner for Specialist Marine Consultants (SMC), a global leader in offshore solutions.

White added: "Audacia has built an outstanding reputation as one of Yorkshire's most promising technology companies. As a well-established, reliable and innovative technology partner for global clients, we look forward to continuing our expansion and success."

Audacia also has a central London office, located in Bank, which opened in November 2017 to service the company’s expanding list of clients located in the South East.
