Tech Nation has revealed its 20 finalists for the Rising Stars competition.

The companies through to pitch at the Grand Final at London’s Rich Mix on 5th March represent the UK’s best and brightest early-stage tech talent.

The Rising Stars competition offers the start-ups invaluable support in showcasing and growing their businesses.

They will have the opportunity to raise their profile, learn pitching tips and tricks from the experts, and network with other founders, mentors, investors and influencers.

Complete with pitch training workshops and mentoring from Sunderland Software City, the semi-final hosted at Barclays Eagle Labs in Manchester gave companies the chance to refine their skills before pitching to an expert judging panel made up of Mark Sykes (BDO Drive), Ed Prior (GP Bullhound), Sarah Revelliard (Microsoft Bing), Tracey Johnson (Enterprising Barnsley), Naomi Timperley (Tech North Advocates) and Kelly Clarke (TLT LLP).

The Grand Final will see the finalists pitch in front of a high profile audience – with investors, corporates and entrepreneurs all in attendance – to a panel of renowned judges, including Warwick Hill, Senior MD and Head of Microsoft for Startups at Microsoft, and Francesca Warner, CEO of Diversity VC.

Winners will receive a prize package worth over £4,000 designed to supercharge their business, including an expert-led growth session, PR campaign and 1-2-1 mentoring.
