Top football coach becomes tech entrepreneur

Technology

A former football coach has launched a tech platform that he thinks will revolutionise the world of coaching.

Keith Brady used to coach at Tranmere Rovers’ School of Excellence and Berwick Rangers’ U19s before launching his business Better Sports Coaching after identifying a gap in the market.

Subscribers to the platform can access bitesize videos in one place aimed at improving sporting performance.

Explaining how the idea came about he said: “If you’re a coach, athlete or anything to do with sport, with a passion for development and continual learning, where do you go?

“You can attend conferences, seminars, read hundreds of books and surf the internet and trusted sources of information. What we’re doing is taking those trusted sources of information, bringing that expertise from universities and possibly coaches with years of experience and we are delivering that on high quality video in bitesize chunks or chapters of information.

“This allows the coach, the athlete, whatever you are in sport, to upskill in the comfort of their own home, very quickly, cost effectively in any discipline you want.”

The videos cover all disciplines of sport, including performance analysis, psychology and health and fitness.

Users can take advantage of a free trial before paying a monthly subscription charge of £14.99.

Brady said: “We are going to bring those experts directly into your living room to save you going to seminars and conferences in your busy lifestyle.”
