BusinessCloud today reveals its list of 51 of the UK's top artificial intelligence innovators.

In the fast-changing world of AI we're shining a light on 51 of the companies that we feel are doing something especially innovative and disruptive with the technology.

People could nominate companies for possible inclusion in the list but we canvassed the opinion of industry experts before settling on the final line-up.

We've published them in alphabetical order but a public vote this week will decide the top company.

To vote just email the name of your winner to with the reason why you think they should win. It’s only one vote per person and/or  email address. The closing date in midday on Thursday 16th August.

BusinessCloud will be interviewing the winner for a story on the website. If you tweet about the list please use the hashtag #BC51AI.

BusinessCloud editor Chris Maguire said: "Artificial intelligence has become much more mainstream as businesses recognise the huge potential it presents.

"AI is sector agnostic and is transforming everything from healthcare to finance to cyber security. Businesses should consider AI as their latest employee, one that learns quickly and can work around the clock without making mistakes.

"Clearly these aren't the only 51 AI companies out there and we want to build on this list going forward. If you think a company should be added in the future, email our artificial intelligence specialist Alistair Hardaker at"

The list features businesses that have developed their own artificial intelligence and those which have adopted the technology into their processes.

If you’d like to nominate one of the featured businesses as your favourite, let us know by emailing us here. The ‘51 AI Innovators’ is the latest addition to BusinessCloud’s featured lists, adding to the existing ‘51 Tech Firsts’, ‘51 Health Tech Pioneers’, ‘35 Under 35’ and ‘101 Female Founders’ lists.

Later this week we'll be publishing a shorter list of rising stars in the world of artificial intelligence. These are companies that didn’t quite make the main list but the judges felt were ones worth keeping an eye on.
