Cardiff-based agency Spindogs has opened an office in Oxford after a series of client wins.

The web design and marketing business has won contracts with car manufacturers Nissan and Hyundai.

It will also design the websites of Oxford University’s Department of Earth Sciences and Department of Engineering Science as well as Exeter College, also within the university.

Welsh firm Spindogs will open a base at the Magdalen Centre in Oxford Science Park.

“Our new base in Oxford will now enable us to further develop the business on a UK-wide platform as we look to harness opportunities in the ever growing digital world that we now live in,” said founder and managing director Liam Giles.

Spindogs, founded in 2004, already works with Swansea University and Cardiff University.

It employs 31 staff and is on course to increase turnover by 50 per cent to £1.5m during this current financial year.
