Whisk is a food artificial intelligence engine that many top companies use to make their recipe websites and apps smarter.

Launched by Nick Holzherr, a former contestant on BBC show The Apprentice, it is used by the likes of Amazon, Tesco, Unilever and BBC Good Food.

The tech personalises the recipes that users see and allows them to buy the relevant groceries from supermarkets.

It is focused on the US, UK and Australia and is now looking to expand into Europe.
