An online garage market place has expanded after moving into new offices in Newcastle.

WhoCanFixMyCar.com, headquartered in Newcastle, has moved to new offices at Forth Banks, overlooking the River Tyne, after spending seven years at its previous location.

Founded in 2010 by Alistair Preston and Ian Griffiths, the company has secured a total of £4M in funding and its website has more than one million users.

With nearly 40 staff across Newcastle, London and Kiev, the office move is intended to allow the company to continue to grow and facilitate its hiring plans.

“We are incredibly excited not only to have the opportunity to move into these new offices, but for the move to be as a result of continued growth,” said Ian Griffiths, co-founder of WhoCanFixMyCar.com.

“We’ve been able to put ourselves in a fantastic position locally to build up more community links and plan to continue expanding in Newcastle, recruiting great local talent.”

The company is now preparing to fully develop its own artificial intelligence (AI) software, which will help generate quotes for customers based on past work carried out by garages.
