Women’s business network AllBright, which consists of members clubs, special event programming and a digital network, has announced a £13m funding round.

The round, led by Cain International, takes the total amount of capital raised to over £25m.

The brainchild of Hearst Magazines CEO Anna Jones and British entrepreneur Debbie Wosskow OBE, AllBright’s first members’ club counts actors Naomie Harris and Olivia Wilde among its founder members, as well as House of Lords peer Martha Lane-Fox and MOBO Awards founder Kanya King.

Its two UK women’s members clubs will be followed by locations in Los Angeles, New York City and Washington DC opening in the coming months.

The international expansion follows the launch of its app AllBright Connect.

Alongside Cain International, other angel investors include Allan Leighton (AllBright Non-Executive Chairman and former CEO of ASDA); Gail Mandel (former President and CEO Wyndham Destination Network, to whom Wosskow sold Love Home Swap in 2017); Stephanie Daily Smith (DNC Consultant, former Deputy National Finance Director to Senator Hillary Clinton); and Darren Throop (Founder, President and CEO of Entertainment One).

“We are hugely excited about the global expansion of AllBright, to the US and beyond,” said Wosskow OBE.

“Since launching AllBright, we have grown rapidly into a destination brand for women from all sectors.

“AllBright has galvanised a strong and dynamic community of like-minded women and we are excited about growing this community globally as we continue to develop the business.”

Jonathan Goldstein, CEO of Cain International, added: “Our US footprint positions us perfectly to help Anna and Debbie realise their vision of growing AllBright and its digital network on a global scale.”
