Yorkshire HealthTech firm secures £650k

Yorkshire-based HealthTech firm Advanced Digital Innovations has secured £650k in funding.

The funds come from NPIF – Mercia Equity Finance, which is managed by Mercia and part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

The firm intents to use the funds to increase traction of its flagship product, MyPathway.

Already being used by a number of NHS trusts, the app connects patients to their healthcare provider through.

The firm also intends to use the funds to bolster its sales and marketing team

Founded in 2012 in Saltaire, the firm has worked with Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, North West Boroughs Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust and NHS North East Essex CCG.

It is now hopes tosign up further UK trusts.

Jonathan Sharp, investment manager with Mercia, added: “MyPathway revolutionises the relationship between patients and healthcare providers, saving time and money and making the patient’s healthcare journey much easier to manage.

“The investment will allow ADI to drive sales growth and build awareness of the product in the healthcare market.”
